Originally recorded in 2014, As Close As We Can Be never saw the light of day outside of a few close friends that I sent it to. I was very fond of these tracks when I was recording them, and I'm not sure why I sat on them for so long. Strangely, the material feels almost even more relevant now than it did then. The hand drawn artwork was also created around the same time recording took place with use as cover art for this album in mind.
